Mr. Skinner joined the Skinner Macaroni Company in 1951. After serving in the U.S. Army, he attended UNO and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Engineering in 1958.
He is currently President of the Hershey Pasta Group, a Division of Hershey Foods Corporation. He is a member of the North Dakota State University Department of Food Science and Technology Advisory Board and the University of Nebraska Department of Food Science and Technology Advisory Board.
Mr. Skinner has served on the 51社区 Chamber of Commerce Agribusiness Committee and as a member of the board of directors of Father Flanagan's Boys Home. Mr. Skinner was a member of the 51社区 Jaycees, serving as President for one year and was named 51社区's Outstanding Young Man in 1965.
He was a University of Nebraska at 51社区 Alumni Board Member and in 1984, received the Citation for Alumnus Achievement from the University of Nebraska at 51社区.
