Dr. Majid Jadidi
- Biomechanics, Assistant Professor
General Information
Biography
Dr. Majid Jadidi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomechanics. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in the biomechanics of soft tissues. His research program is dedicated to understanding the complex biomechanics of human arteries in health and disease. Using a combination of experimental biomechanics and preclinical models, his lab investigates the structural and functional changes in the vascular system caused by aging and disease. This foundational work drives the development and testing of new medical devices and therapeutics for vascular repair.
