GAC Benefits at UNO
-
Earn U.S. University Credit: Complete your GAC program and earn up to 36 credit hours toward your undergraduate degree at UNO. That’s the equivalent of your first year of university already completed!
-
Meet English Proficiency Requirements: An ACT English subscore of 18 or higher fulfills UNO’s English proficiency requirement—no need for additional English testing.
-
Save Time and Money: By transferring more than 24 credit hours, you effectively waive your first year of tuition and living costs. This means you can finish your bachelor’s degree in just 3 years instead of 4, reducing your overall expenses significantly.
-
Fast Track Your Future: With this head start, you’ll graduate sooner, enter the job market earlier, and maximize the return on your education.
