S-STEM Scholarship | PRIME Program
The PRIME (Persistence and Retention through Community Involvement, Mentoring, and Experiential Learning ) project granted via the NSF鈥檚 S-STEM program provides scholarships to students with unmet need and aims to strengthen Nebraska鈥檚 STEM workforce by combining S-STEM funding with purposeful community engagement, dedicated mentoring, and hands-on experiential learning.
S-STEM Leadership Team
The S-STEM leadership team along with the UNO STEM TRAIL (Teaching, Research, and Inquiry-Based Learning) Center designed the program to deliver comprehensive "wraparound" services along with the financial benefit, offering students a robust menu of evidence-based activities that enhance both academic success and personal well-being.
