My academic interests lie in Spanish language acquisition and specifically how that occurs in dual-language programs.
I enjoy anything that will expose my two boys to Spanish including incentivizing reading and watching shows in the language. We also enjoy the variety of cultures that our community offers.
As a family we love to travel to experience cultures abroad. In Summer of 2025, I walked, for the second time, the Camino de Santiago in the north of Spain, but this time with my older son. I don't have a bucket list and do not believe in "trips of a lifetime." The best trips are yet to come as long as we just decide to take off.
