Stammtisch German Conversation Table
Join us for casual conversation auf Deutsch! Stammtisch is a German conversation table that meets every Thursday 4 - 5:30 P.M. during the fall and spring semesters (excluding university breaks).
Students of all levels of German are welcome! We are currently meeting in a hybrid format, in-person (344 ASH) and via Zoom.

Spanish Conversation Club
Join the Department of World Languages and Literature for a biweekly conversation club, ¡en español! We will play games, or watch shows or movies in Spanish.
We provide a comfortable environment to practice your Spanish skills while gaining a sense of community. Students of all levels of Spanish are welcome!
Language for the Professions Series
Language for the Professions Series is held once a semester. All students and faculty are welcome. Although the event highlights the importance and role of bilingualism in theses professions the event is held primarily in English. It is organized and sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Literature and the College of Arts and Sciences.

The Annual WLL Honors and Awards Ceremony is held once a year to celebrate our top achieving students in each language we offer at UNO. All students, faculty, friends and family are welcome to join us in recognizing their exceptional language achievement. This event is organized and sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Literature.

European Studies Conference
The Annual European Studies Conference, sponsored by UNO, brings together individuals from multiple disciplines, but united in their interest in the area between the Atlantic and the Urals. Interdisciplinary panels, workshops, plenaries, and performances bring perspectives and insights that have earned the conference a reputation for high academic quality.
