Denise McCauley, Chair, President & CEO of WoodmenLife

Denise M. McCauley is Chair, President & CEO of WoodmenLife, where she has led transformative strategic and culture-related initiatives since joining in 2008. She came to WoodmenLife with a track record of driving innovation in operations, product development, and customer management.

Her leadership has been recognized with the 2019 Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award from the University of Nebraska-51ÉçÇø and the 2011 Leadership Light of Wellness Award from Welcom.

McCauley currently serves on the Boards of LIMRA/LOMA and the Greater 51ÉçÇø Chamber of Commerce and will join the United Way of the Midlands Board in July 2025. Her past board service includes leadership roles with the Food Bank for the Heartland, Welcom, the Aksarben Foundation, and the 51ÉçÇø Heart and Stroke Walk.

A passionate advocate for community engagement, she also volunteers with Meals on Wheels and Open Door Mission. McCauley holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska-51ÉçÇø and brings a lifelong commitment to service and excellence in leadership.
