Nebraska SPEAK OUT!庐 Therapy & Research Center in Collaboration with Parkinson Voice Project
The UNO Speech-Language Clinic is pleased to offer , and evidence-based treatment that helps people with Parkinson's regain and retain their speech and swallowing. SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program combines education, individual and group speech therapy, daily home practice, and continuous follow-ups.

What is SPEAK OUT!® Therapy Program?
is a highly effective speech therapy program. It consists of 10 individual speech therapy sessions. Together, the patient and the speech-language pathologist work on a series of speech, voice, and conversation exercises outlined in a comprehensive workbook provided to every patient as a gift from Parkinson Voice Project. Therapy sessions are twice a week with sessions lasting about 30 minutes.
Upon completion of individual therapy, patients transition to SPEAK OUT! Group®. A weekly maintenance program that consists of a speech therapy group to help patients maintain the strength of their voices. SPEAK OUT! Group® provides ongoing vocal practice, accountability, support, and encouragement to help patients maintain their communication skills throughout the progression of Parkinson’s.
