To make our campus more AI-Powered, the AI Learning Lab offers resources to help support faculty and staff on campus.
This page is great for faculty who are new to using AI. Current resources include: how to develop an AI syllabus statement, how to set clear guidance on AI use for assignments, how to evaluate assessments and making AI-resistant or AI-inclusive changes, the issue with detection tools, and guides for citing AI tools, among others.
This resource is for all faculty and staff who are looking for ideas on how they can implement AI into their course or everyday work. The AI Prompt Book is filled with examples of AI implementation, including prompts to use and/or personalize, and sample input and output to ensure it's what you’re looking for.

The AI Advantage: Transforming Teaching and Preparing Students to Thrive
This six-week professional development course is designed for all levels of AI users and for both faculty and staff. Walk through the process of exploring AI tools and incorporating it into your work. You’ll leave this course with a plan to implement AI into your course, everyday work, and department.
AI Jumpstart: Learning & Exploring with Generative AI
This course is a micro course (3 to 5 hours), designed to help you learn about generative AI. In this micro course, you'll learn a bit about what generative AI is, how it differs from other types of AI, and tips on how to become a good prompt engineer. You'll end the course exploring how you can use different types of generative AI (music, text, image, etc.) and sharing about your experience!

AI Specific Workshops
Each semester, the AI Learning Lab hosts a series of AI workshops focused on incorporating AI into the classroom or work. The goal of these workshops is to support faculty and staff. By the end of each session, educators will be equipped with new skills or knowledge to integrate AI and the different components of using AI in the work or learning experience.
