The Department of Economic Development is partnering with Governor Ricketts to inform and assist businesses during Nebraska’s ongoing response to COVID-19. The links listed below provide an overview of these efforts from our agency, as well as the Departments of Labor, Insurance and Health and Human Services.
This will be beneficial as a resource for employers to assist employees that have reduced hours and are losing compensation due to the impact on the business from the Coronavirus. This also has links to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) as well.

The Nebraska Chamber of Commerce and Industry has developed the following concise guides on the SBA loan programs (EIDL and PPP) and the Nebraska Unemployment Insurance programs. These guides are useful in evaluating the usefulness of these programs for your business.
The Nebraska Child Care Provider Relief Fund will award emergency funds to Nebraska licensed family and center-based child care programs that are open and currently serving families in areas of the state that have partnering relationships with NCFF or NECC initiatives. Funds, based on availability, will be awarded in the amount of $1,000 (one thousand dollars) per applicant.
