For the past two summers, Sophia worked at Garmin as an embedded software engineering intern. During both internships, she developed strong skills in embedded software, operating systems, low-level C and assembly, and web development. Prior to Garmin, Sophia worked at Fiserv as a web development intern and also served as a Scott Scholars Design Studio intern, where her team developed a mobile app prototype for the U.S. Department of Defense. Sophia plans to pursue a career in software engineering or in the renewable energy sector after college.
