Salah works at MMT Ambulance as an EMT, conducting comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, airway management, and basic trauma care. This past summer, Salah participated in the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Through SHPEP, he engaged in healthcare career exploration, professional development workshops, and hands-on clinical and public health experiences. In the summer of 2024, Salah was a Scott Scholar Design Studio intern and worked with Millard Public Schools to improve their STEM programming. Following graduation, Salah aspires to become a neurosurgeon with a specialized focus on neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's disease. He is particularly interested in integrating computer science with medicine in order to develop innovative solutions for neurological disorders.
