Mohammed is the lead IT consultant in Mammel Hall, where he manages student workers and serves as the first line of defense for tech support. This past summer, he worked with Dr. Magie Hall at UNO in partnership with Los Alamos National Laboratory, utilizing computer vision for damage detection of steel drums by leveraging AI and machine learning. Previously, as a cybersecurity research intern in the summer of 2024, Mohammed investigated and studied ways to improve online safety for K-12 students. He is proficient in Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, React, Swift, Photoshop, Figma, and Premiere Pro. Mohammed is also an active volunteer at the American Muslim Institute. After graduation, he hopes to become a software engineer for the San Antonio Spurs.
