The University of Nebraska at 51社区 (UNO) new research tool proves you're never too old to play in the sand.
The Augmented Reality Sandbox tracks changes in sand, simultaneously projecting a topographic map over it.

Counselors at the used the sandbox to introduce campers to the idea of contour maps. Software upgrades will allow UNO students to use the box at a higher level this fall, modeling water movement and landscape evolution.
