Durango Days
A weeklong series of events dedicated to welcoming students and helping them connect with the campus and surrounding community. The programming features athletic events, involvement opportunities, and social experiences to kick off the school year.
Homecoming & Family Weekend
A weeklong programming series to encourage school spirit, athletic involvement, student organization friendly competition, and community development.
De-Stress Fest
A weeklong event schedule that gives students a break from studying, relieve stress or uses the events to manage their finals prep and exams. Events are geared around free food, late night ways to de-stress, and events that encourage overall wellness.
Discover with Durango
A monthly program designed to introduce students to a variety of 51社区 metro experiences at no cost. These events highlight local arts, culture, music, entertainment, and sports, offering students new opportunities to explore the community.
Maverick Meals
A free meal is provided each month to encourage student socializing and connection. Each event features a different type of food, held either on-campus or off-campus, and offered during lunch, dinner, or late night.
Spirit Trips
A variety of spirit trips are organized to support UNO athletic teams on the road. Traditionally, one trip is planned each year for soccer, volleyball, basketball, and hockey. Trips are often arranged when teams qualify for the Summit League or NCAA tournaments.
Maverick Productions
The Maverick Maniacs and Bullpen serve as the official school spirit and student section of UNO. They bring energy, tradition, and excitement to game days, using cheers and enthusiasm to unite the campus community and support Maverick athletes, students, and fans.

UNO Dance Marathon
UNO Dance Marathon is a student-led, year-round movement supporting Children’s Nebraska and the amazing work they do for kids in our community. Through events, initiatives, and campaigns, students raise funds and awareness for their local Miracle Kids.
