The are celebrating a “three-peat”.

For the third consecutive year, the Delta Chi Chapter of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity has been honored with the Robert Adger Smythe Award.

The Smythe Award is the highest distinction a Pi Kappa Alpha chapter can earn. It recognizes academic success, community service and philanthropy, campus leadership and athletic excellence.

This year, the chapter was recognized for collectively volunteering roughly 9,500 service hours, raising more than $90,000 for philanthropy, and attaining a 3.33 GPA.

The recognition also celebrates the chapter’s excellent retention rate of new members and victory in an intramural athletics championship.

UNO Student Body President Brock Lewis belongs to the fraternity and sent out this tweet:

My time with has been unforgetable but I can say that witnessing our chapter win its 3rd Smythe in a row will stay with me forever

Pi Kappa Alpha awards the Smythe each year to high-performing chapters in roughly the top 10 percent of its more than 200 chapters.
