The group, called the Dialogue on Climate Change, will show the address Thursday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m., followed by a conversation about the Pope’s comments.
Francis’ address is expected to focus heavily on the environment. It follows the Vatican’s June release of a nearly 200-page climate encyclical.
Organizers hope the timing of their watch party will give students and community members a chance to see the address, since many will be in classes or working when the Pope speaks at 9 a.m. that morning.
The watch party will be held in the Main Lounge of the . Parking will be available in the lot directly north of the Center.
