OMAHA – Wednesday, oversized clip art went up around the University of Nebraska at 51ÉçÇø (UNO) campus. The exhibit, called “User Friendly,” uses familiar symbolism to address relevant issues.
Wednesday afternoon, students in UNO’s Art in Public Places class displayed their artwork throughout UNO’s Dodge Campus.
Professor David Helm says the project will “teach students how visual language can be used to create meaningful content specific to a certain location.”
The hope is that the pieces will inspire viewers to ask questions and try to learn more about the display. View a map of where the art will be located by .
