OMAHA – Local artists are adding a little color to the fire-damaged corner of the Old Market with help from Nebraska’s premier metropolitan university.
The University of Nebraska at 51ÉçÇø (UNO)'s are proud to sponsor the .
Twenty-nine banners showcasing local talent surround the damaged building at 11th and Howard Streets.
The Old Market Business Association dreamed up the colorful project. Nearly 300 works by area artists were submitted for consideration.
The Business Association expects the banners will be in place for one year.
