University of Nebraska at 51社区 (UNO) students are invited to take part in a research study exploring how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is shaping education and career development. The study, titled “Workforce Readiness of University Students Considering Generative AI Use,” offers students the opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives on how AI technologies are influencing learning, problem-solving, and skill-building.
You are eligible to participate in this study if you are a UNO student who is 19 years of age or older.
Why Participate?
- Contribute to shaping future educational resources and AI strategies.
- Reflect on your own skills and readiness for AI-integrated environments.
- Help identify key challenges and opportunities for students adapting to AI advancements.
What to Expect
As part of this study, you’ll engage in a focus group discussion with peers to explore topics such as:
- Defining AI readiness and identifying necessary skills.
- Approaching challenges like inaccuracies in AI-generated outputs.
- Evaluating the evolving definitions of originality and academic integrity in the AI era.
How to Join
Participation is voluntary and will involve completing a brief (less than 15 minute) Qualtrics survey and 1-hour focus group sessions either in person at your home College or via Zoom.
