UNO Celebrated Over 2,000 New Graduates at May 2025 Commencement

🎓 UNO's alumni network is expanding! The University of Nebraska at 51社区 (UNO) alumni network grew by more than 2,000 Mavericks during the May 2025 Commencement ceremonies on May 16, at Baxter Arena.
The list of May 2025 graduates is now available for publication.
🔢 By the Numbers:
- 2,009 Mavericks
- 1,473 undergraduate degrees
- 536 graduate-level degrees
- 13 doctoral
- 12 educational specialists
- 482 master’s degrees
- 29 graduate certificates and 37 undergraduate certificates
- 616 first generation students
- Students representing 23 countries and 35 U.S. states
Note: Because final grades are often not yet submitted at the time of commencement, there is the possibility that a name included on the list may not actually meet the requirements to receive their degree or certificate.
Students who received academic honors are so indicated. For quick reference:

Cum Laude = GPA of 3.51 - 3.62

Magna Cum Laude = GPA of 3.63 – 3.86

Summa Cum Laude = GPA of 3.87 and above
Extra Muros distinctions are so indicated for those students with transfer credits who have not completed the required 60 semester hours of credit within the University of Nebraska (NU) System required for cum laude, magna cum laude, or summa cum laude honors.
