Understanding of Two Sub-Paths
Two sub-paths have been drafted to support a student's preparedness for Calculus-based courses. These two separate sub-paths are noted as:
- Calculus-Precursor
- Intended to support a student who is developing skills/competencies by taking the following MCC MATH 2410 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I prerequisites at MCC:
- MATH 1315 College Algebra
- MATH 1425 Pre-Calculus Algebra
- MATH 1430 Trigonometry
- Intended to support a student who is developing skills/competencies by taking the following MCC MATH 2410 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I prerequisites at MCC:
- Calculus-Ready
- Intended to support a student who has developed skills/competencies required to take MCC MATH 2410 Analytic Geometry and Calculus I at MCC.
- Students who are considered Calculus-Ready may enroll in MCC MATH 2410 with the support of their MCC academic advisor.
