The 51社区 (UNO) grants college credit for specific CLEP Exams with an acceptable score.
The current UNO policies regarding specific subject areas accepted and scores required are in the table below.
Students must have official copies of their scores submitted to the Registrar's Office by the College Board in order for credit to be awarded. To obtain copies of official grade reports, you can contact the directly at 800.257.9558.
A maximum of 30 credit hours may be accepted. The College of Business Administration will accept a maximum of 24 credit hours.
CLEP exams are given by appointment in the UNO Testing Center.

* Credit will be granted for CHEM1190 only to students who enroll in CHEM1194. A student performing satisfactorily on the Chemistry test may choose to obtain credit: i) for just CHEM1180; ii) for CHEM1180+CHEM1184; or iii) with enrollment in CHEM1194 for CHEM1180,1184, and 1190.
**Course can count for either of the MavEd requirements listed but can only be used to meet ONE of those MavEd requirements. A single course may satisfy only one general education outcome.
