Grant Forward
ORCA subscribes to and provides Grant Forward to UNO faculty, staff, and students. Grant Forward is a search engine dedicated to helping institutions and individuals find grants to fund their research. It is focused on on improving the inventory of foundation, federal, and other funding sources while providing intuitive, powerful search tools.

Grants.gov
The Grants.gov system is free to the public — anyone can set up an account. Grants.gov houses centralized information on more than 1,000 grant programs, and it vets grant applications for all 26 federal grant-making agencies, awarding more than $500 billion annually.

National Science Foundation (NSF) Funding Search
The National Science Foundation funds research and education in most fields of science and engineering. Search for NSF funding opportunities, awards and more.

National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS)
Most grants are for research projects (R01/R35), but NIGMS also funds small business (SBIR/STTR) grants as well as some research resources. The Institute encourages research in certain scientific areas through requests for applications, Notices of Special Interest, and program announcements.
